Título: Neurônios morfológicos: Uma introdução às células on-off artificiais
Autores: Silva, Francisco A.Tavares F. da
Resumo: This work proposes the modeling of on-off cells by the use of morphological neurons. The mathematical model has inspiration on the biological shape perception theory coming from Kuffler, Hubel and Wiesel’s paradigms applied to modeling of biological neurons. This new approach makes use of adaptive morphological operators which can be implemented by unsupervised and competitive learning techniques. This connectionist paradigm is inspired on the neurons from retina toward lateral geniculate nucleus. The work must contribute on the development of new connectionist formalisms and also on the implementation of new smart sensors devices.
