Título: Redes Neurais na Análise Econômico-Financeira de Empresas para Concessão de Crédito

Resumo: The goal of this work is to classify a company, through a financial-economic analysis, either as a solvent or insolvent one, obtaining a preliminary diagnosis regarding credit granting for banking institutions loan officers. To establish the classification, the Neural Networks Technique was used, with the Back-Propagation Algorithm. Before performing the training on the Neural Network, some statistical tests were performed in order to achieve a better understanding about the historical data to be used in the training phase.
