Resumo: This paper presents preliminary results of the use of radial basis neural networks to control an inverted stick. Comparison of the strategy with a PI and a Fuzzy controller have been obtained using the MatWorks Simulink®. Main advantages of these aproach (RBFcontroller) is the possibility of enhance the performance of the system by a new training procedure, without losing previous stored information.
