Título: Empregando o Neo Fuzzy Neuron para Modelagem de um Conjunto de Dados Fisiológicos e Avaliação do Monitoramento de Apnéia: Um Estudo de Caso

Resumo: This paper discusses a neo fuzzy neuron (NFN) modeling procedure of a physiologycal data set recorded from a subject that suffers from sleep apnea desease. Such a pathology is characterized by breathing disorders during sleep and consequent lack in blood oxygen saturation. The main goal of this modeling is to check if it is possible to screen of sleep apnea from data using neo fuzzy neuron weights information. Preliminary results of sleep apnea screening will be presented as a case study. Advantages of using heart rate variability for screening of sleep apnea will be discussed, enforcing recent works in literature.
