Título: Análise Qualitativa de Processos Através dos Fatores de Sensibilidade Via Redes Neurais e Sua Aplicação na Laminação em Tandem

Resumo: In this work a new method for model linearization and qualitative analysis are presented. The analysis is based on the differentiation of neural network outputs to obtain sensitivity factors. In a final analysis, this corresponds to the decomposition of the actual model into the linear terms of the multivariable Taylor’s series. The proposed method leads to analytic equations which well represent the process in some neighborhood of an operation point. As an example, this paper presents the application of the method to analysis the qualitative behavior of the tandem mill. Final comments and conclusions are also presented.
