Título: Sistema Caracterizador Híbrido para Identificar Descargas Parciais em Transformadores de Potência

Resumo: The partial discharge detection and localization in power transformers is addressed by the use of a simplified experimental model (for partial discharge generation) and a hybrid signal processing technique. The experimental model is obtained using test cells for which partial discharge signals are generated. Experimental data were collected in laboratory by extensive measurement on those test cells. The detection efficiency for partial discharges is shown to be above 97%, using optimal lineal filtering and neural processing.
