Resumo: This paper presents a combined auto-tuned gain scheduling fuzzy PID and predictive control. Practical experiments in a nonlinear system are given to show the effectiveness of the control structures. Experimental results are carried out to observe the servo and regulatory behavior and to evaluate the features and performance of combined control. A hybrid fuzzy and predictive control can improve performance by mutually making up each other’s weak points shown when they are employed separately.
