Resumo: Water demand forecasting is extremely necessary to optimize the production costs and losses of drinking water distribution plants. This study introduces a model using artificial neural networks aiming to foresee the water demand in the next 24 hours for the city of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, Brazil.
